Inventory Clerk

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Inventory Clerk Position type: Full-time/Contract to Hire Duration: 06+ Months Location: PLEASANTON, CA - 94588 As a Inventory Clerk you will: Inventory Management (Services Performed): Determine what products are required to part of the inventory program. Count existing inventory and provide an accurate quantity and value of the inventory. Utilize Inventory Manager proprietary technology for order replenishment and inventory management of VWR and non VWR products in stockrooms and POUs in labs. Manage expiry and temperature sensitive stock materials. Ensure all stocking locations are clearly labelled for ease of issuance, stocking, and re-ordering. Use barcode/QR code technology and equipment to place replenishment orders for items in stocking locations and provide detailed metrics of usage, spend and dead stock per POU/stockroom. Provide monthly KPI package and recommend adjustments to inventory based on historical trending data. Drive second sourcing project to identify and document alternative products. Collaborate with VWR commercial team to monitor, report on and resolve back orders. Receive packages delivered to drop zone areas and deliver to end users, stockroom or POU location. Stage and sort orders for transfer to program stocking locations from stores. De-trash, prepare and transport products to Point-of-Use locations. Where appropriate recommend technology offerings such as Smart Buttons and Smart Shelves to improve communication and support at POUs. Collaborate with VWR sales rep to improve inventory position of 10x Genomics through cost reduction, utilization of client off site storage solutions and supply chain visibility. Interface directly with end users to determine what products are supported through VMI program and where they are staged. Receiving and Desktop Delivery (Services Performed): Conduct 3-point check, verify contents, unpack and detrash incoming packages. Identify package recipients and deliver directly to desk/staging area. Deliver temperature sensitive items to appropriate storage locations and notify end users of location. Lab Support (Services Performed): Conduct basic lab support and equipment maintenance activities. Monitor gas cylinder and dewar levels, escort vendors onsite as needed to replenish. Collect, package, ship or stage pipettes for routine calibration; facilitate PM for other lab equipment as needed. Monitor, order, receive gases and dry ice.
