On My Own Independent Living Services is a local company dedicated to providing direct in-home care, quality supervision and supportive services for adults with developmental disabilities, parents, and the elderly. Job Summary:
- Supervising clients in personal care (e.g., bathing, showering, grooming, etc.).
- Assisting clients in preparing meals.
- Overseeing clients performing daily living tasks, which may include the use and monitoring of assistive devices and precautionary equipment, such as Hoyer, bathing rails, ramps, etc., to ensure client’s safety.
- Performing limited housekeeping tasks in the client’s personal space (not for the general household).
