Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required.

• 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

• 3 months of experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Travel and Local candidates are eligible to apply for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

While only one reference is required for submittal, two manager references will need to be provided during onboarding in order to be compliant with Johns Hopkins requirements.

Some infusion experience preferred, MUST HAVE Mid-line and PICC placement experience, PICC Cert Highly REQUIRED

Will need BOTH MD and DC RN licensure

Description: Assesses the patient’s need for placement of a vascular access device and determines the appropriate type of device to place, location to place the device, and safety of line placement. Acts as an expert in vascular access line placement to include peripheral lines, midline catheters, and Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters in the clinic setting. Under the direction of nursing leadership, assists with trouble shooting vascular access issues and provides expert guidance to team members with the management of these devices.
