Job Description

Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer (Multiple Openings) in Foster City, CA to lead security initiatives, due diligence, and integration of Visa's acquired entities. Perform Threat Modeling, Design and security reviews on the entity's applications/infrastructure and provide guidance on effective countermeasures. Act as a subject matter expert and provide security guidance and recommendations to engineering and operational teams. Lead Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) post-close integration activities for Cybersecurity deliverables. Contribute to Visa's security policies, standards, and guidelines related to Information security. Perform security assessments on web applications, mobile applications, thick clients to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommended counter measures. Improve on existing framework, processes, methodologies related to due diligence and integration of entities. Enhance the security posture of the entity hosted in public cloud or on-prem environment. Develop standards, policies, and procedures as well as best practices documentation for Cloud deployments. Translate security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate security risks to different audiences ranging from business leaders to engineers. Understand the broad regulatory landscape affecting Visa business areas; remain current with emerging regulatory sentiments as well as solution trends in the marketplace. Position reports to the Employer's Foster City, California office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related technical field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer security related occupation.

Rate of Pay: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $179,200.00 USD to $286,700.00 USD per year. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
