BlueTriton Brands is currently seeking an applicant for the Forklift Operator position located in the Somerset, NJ factory.
Compensation
Pay: $21.45 / hour

Schedule
6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Day Shift
Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Safely operating a forklift to accurately and efficiently movement all finished product from production to the warehouse or onto trucks for shipment to customers.
Inspects full goods and raw materials and conducts hourly quality checks to ensure quality product is sent to customers
Meet or exceed Warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Accurately execute loading/unloading from pick tickets and line loading trailers when possible
Perform accurate bin transactions and inventory movements per SOPs
Work as a team with production to ensure no line stoppages occur
Performs routine and preventive maintenance and equipment changeovers on palletizers
Supports continuous improvement initiatives
Perform loading or palletizing responsibilities as needed
Key qualifications include:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
Prior forklift or heavy equipment experience Required with prior experience in manufacturing desired
Exposure to warehouse inventory scanners
Basic equipment maintenance preferred
Ability to work self directed and with a team
Solid communication and interpersonal skills with experience working in a team based environment
Ability to interact with various internal contacts to manage the flow of work
Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft applications, SAP experience a plus
Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency
Ability to lift/move 50 lbs and get up and down a forklift frequently throughout the day
Able to sit for long periods of time and drive backwards as needed
