Manager, Sales Estimating

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees the preparation of detailed bids that include price, labor and materials.
• Prepares quantity take-offs and estimates costs of materials, labor, and use of equipment required to fulfill all provisions of the contract.
• Assesses cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops maintaining the project cost history.
• Conduct cost analysis and setting benchmarks for improvement.
• Keeps current on market conditions and renewable industry trends.
• Schedules and Attends are project related calls to ensure internal and external project alignment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Require a Bachelors Degree in Business or Management.
• 2+ years’ Purchasing/Buyer experience in the Manufacturing, Construction and/or Engineering field.
• Preference given for experience in Solar, Renewable Energy or Power Generation.

PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Preference given for bilingual candidates.
• Experience in Microsoft (Word, Excel, etc.) is required.
• Experience with Viewpoint preferred.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
