About the role

The Branch President is responsible for handling the day-to-day management of our bank operations and acts as a leader to bank staff. This role will ensure we provide quality customer care, improve efficiencies within the branch, and will promote business in the local community. The ideal individual in this role should exhibit commercial and agricultural lending experience, this role is best filled by an experienced lender who fosters a culture of growth and profitability in their business and wishes to lead an effective team.

This role will oversee our locations in Bristol and Waubay.

What you will do

• Oversees flow of cash and finances in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Supervises Branch personnel and exhibits a leadership presence that promotes growth and development of bank staff.
• Responsible for overseeing and executing the growth of both deposits and lending through development of sales plans and production goals, including developing a strong network of internal and external contacts.
• Possesses a strong Agricultural background to speak directly to customer needs and find the best solution.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase productivity and profitability of the bank, through increasing deposit growth and lending opportunities.
• Support portfolio growth by identifying new opportunities with existing and new clients.
• Ensure the banks day to day operational practices are compliant with all federal and state regulation, as identified within the bank.
• Conduct regular proof processes to ensure adherence to operational requirements, including investigating controllable losses by bank staff, provides coaching and manage performance of staff.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure goals are achieved, and optimal customer service is provided.
• Assist with the underwriting and execution of loans
• Leads hiring process and takes part in performance review cycle, including evaluating and recommending adjustments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What you will need

• Bachelors degree or greater in related field required.
  
• 5+ years of relevant experience strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in banking or financial industry preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Exposure to commercial and agricultural lending is preferred, with a focus on the agricultural side.
