Maintenance Technician I
Payrate: $22 - $26/hr.
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 12:00am
Location: Kingsburg, CA

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY & SKILLS
Knowledge of:
Hand Tools: Use a variety of hand and power tools in performing duties.
Follow Instructions: Reads instructions / labels and performs work as assigned by department supervisor or lead.
REQUIREMENTS:
PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional use of the keyboard; frequent sitting for long periods of time; Occasional bending, squatting; Constant use of vision with frequent reading; Frequent decision making and concentration; Frequent hearing and talking, in person and on the phone; Frequent exposure to noise; Frequent reading and close up work; Occasional lifting and/or carrying up to 55 pounds; Occasional exposure to climbing elevated heights of 200ft on stairs and ladders while working in confined spaces.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a typical outdoor environment subject to street or field noise and environment including exposure to loud equipment and machinery. Some duties involve working in a typical temperature-controlled office environment subject to typical office noise and environment. Position may require work outside regular business hours, including weekends, holidays and on-call; occasional travel to other company locations.

- Computer systems to create spreadsheets is a plus.
- Technical and mechanical systems related to operation
- Maintain high quality control standards; effectively problem-solve, supervise and troubleshoot

- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Evaluate employees fairly and objectively
- Work flexible hours; on-call availability, OT, and rotating weekends.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in feed mill maintenance, industrial, or a production environment.
- MS Office – Excel and Word
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize successfully.
