Job Description

Join our Mechanic team in Hollis, Maine.  Limited openings available for this highly sought-after position.

 

GREAT PAY – $38.56 / hour (based on qualifications)
SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL - Paid for applicable hours worked
FAST INCREASES – After 90 and 180 days (performance based)
$3000 SIGN ON BONUS – Payable in two increments
RELOCATION PACKAGE – Up to $7500 offered for out of state candidates

Schedule:12-hour shift, 5:00 pm - 5:00 am (2/2/3 rotating schedule)

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance tasks to include repairing and improving, from minor rebuilds to major overhauls on all equipment
  • Dismantle, clean, repair, and test electrical, electronic, and mechanical components to determine component-level failure
  • Support equipment installations, retrofits and upgrades to include vendors and contractors
  • Maintain preventative maintenance logs and accurate records of all testing and repairs
  • Identify all potential mechanical and electrical issues with equipment throughout the plant
  • Troubleshoot / investigate and repair all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility systems including chillers, air compressors etc
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Three or more years proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of compressed air systems (pneumatics), electrical systems, hydraulics, and water processing is preferred
  • Preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical repair, troubleshooting using a data driven systematic approach, rebuilding equipment, lifting, rigging, lubrication
  • Successfully demonstrates strong mechanical abilities
  • Must have electrical knowledge of single and three phase power including the ability to diagnose and replace electric motors
  • Ability to do physical inspections, (i.e. climbing, reaching, extending)
  • Proficient with mechanical drawings and OEM technical prints for parts identification
  • Candidates must be flexible to support Business needs; able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime, and to be able to work (On Call) in emergency situations
