At Middleville Engineered Solutions, we're seeking a talented CNC Supervisor to champion our machining department. As the CNC Supervisor, you'll be at the forefront of our CNC operations, guiding our team to excellence in every detail. Here's what awaits you:
Your Mission:

  • Lead Excellence: Utilize your comprehensive understanding of CNC machining to lead our team in every aspect of the process, from programming to sequencing operations.
  • Innovate and Improve: Stay ahead of the curve by researching new technologies and recommending strategic changes to enhance our efficiency and quality.
  • Mentor and Train: Be the driving force behind our team's growth and development, providing feedback, training, and support to ensure top-notch performance.
  • Safety and Standards: Uphold our commitment to safety and excellence by maintaining a clean, efficient work environment and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do:

  • Train and lead machinists to produce top-quality components that meet our exacting standards.
  • Provide valuable feedback and guidance to foster employee development and address performance issues.
  • Lead CNC programming efforts and contribute to the development of efficient machining methods.
  • Spearhead initiatives to enhance machine effectiveness and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with management to recommend measures for improving production methods and equipment performance.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of CNC machines and equipment.
  • Coordinate with the Tooling Operations Manager to optimize scheduling and production efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement within the department.
Requirements:

  • Minimum high school education with complete knowledge of CAD/CAM software applications.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a minimum of eight (8) years of related experience in CNC machining.
  • Intensive knowledge of CNC operations, with a focus on tool and die preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound judgments in complex situations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
