The Product Costing Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate accounting, reporting, analysis, and financial controls in relation to highly complex product costing and inventory processes. We are looking for someone in our Fountain Run, KY location or Pulaski, TN location.

Essential Functions

Manage product updates in collaboration with Vendor Relations and Supply Chain to ensure accurate product costing.
Process net adjustments for inventory.
Records cost variations and contract price movements.
Maintain price lists for WAC and costs while also administering day-to-day pricing needs and requirements as needed.
Onboard products for DSCSA implementation at all warehouse locations.
Ensure accuracy of product costing for related parties.
Act as a lead resource for item cost questions.
Maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls.
Assist in aligning existing and emerging business processes with the product line’s needs and expectations along with conducting insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues.
Establish and document processes that support continuous improvement in business practices.
Foster strong relationships with third party manufacturers to enhance collaboration, communication, and partnership.
Maintains inventory costing data accuracy and resolves any discrepancies timely.
Update Oracle EBS with accurate inventory cost data.
Identifies contract discrepancies and resolves differences.
Collaborates with internal and external groups to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data updates.
Assist with quarterly and annual audits performed by internal and external auditors.
Ensure internal controls are implemented and being performed as established.
Understand the importance of data accuracy and the impact on the organization.
Set up contract prices for repack items within Oracle EBS.
Responsible for inventory costing accuracy within Oracle EBS.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar field (preferred but not required)
3-year minimum experience in data management (5+ years preferred).
Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data in support of business insights and continuous improvement.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Advanced computer skills on MS Office (Excel, Word), accounting software and databases
Advanced Excel skills highly desired
Oracle EBS or other ERP platform knowledge a plus
Experience with a SOX compliance environment highly desired.
Pharmaceutical industry knowledge preferred but not required.
