Minimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a Long Term Care (LTC) environment. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications and ensuring excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing medication orders for LTC residents
- Maintain accurate medication inventory and assist in restocking medications
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and LTC staff
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required
- Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) settings is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand all and handle physical demands of the job
