Dedicated to fostering a passion for learning and scientific inquiry, we are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Science teacher to join our team. This position presents an exciting opportunity to inspire and empower high school students to explore the wonders of science and develop critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative and engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and promote scientific literacy.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore, question, and discover.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional methods, resources, and technology to enhance student learning and understanding.
  • Assess student progress through a range of formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback to support growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities that integrate science concepts with other subject areas.
  • municate effectively with students, parents, and administrators to address concerns, provide updates on student progress, and celebrate achievements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid Idaho teaching certificate with endorsements in Science (or eligibility to obtain certification).
  • Previous experience teaching high school Science preferred, but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of science content and pedagogy, with a passion for teaching and inspiring curiosity.
  • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
