Oncology Infusion Pharmacist - Day Shift - M-F - Contract - Abita Springs, LA

Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Oncology Infusion Pharmacist to cover a maternity leave in our dynamic healthcare environment. The position requires expertise in oncology pharmacy, specifically in infusion and chemotherapy.

Hours: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday

Duration: Maternity Leave Coverage

Environment: Oncology Infusion Pharmacy / Chemo

Requirements:

• Active and Clear Louisiana Pharmacist License
• 1+ year of oncology experience
• Local candidates only

Responsibilities: As the Oncology Infusion Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring accurate and timely preparation and dispensing of oncology medications
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient therapy
• Providing patient education and support
• Participating in the monitoring and management of chemotherapy side effects
• Adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines in the oncology pharmacy setting

• Strong knowledge and experience in oncology pharmacy practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
