Description:Our client is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for their food manufacturing facility in Northern California. This position will have 16 direct full-time reports.This is a great opportunity to join a large organization and a higher performing plant after the recent promotion of the past Quality Assurance Manager.Responsibilities:-Continue to develop a thriving and developing Quality Assurance team.-Work to provide technical expertise collaborating with Engineering and Ops on process, sanitation and facility projects.-Lead Quality Improvement efforts utilizing best practices and continuous improvement-Lead, coach, and manage a team of 16 FTE including 1 QA Supervisor and 15 QA Technicians.-Promote the company's culture and values of integrity, responsibilities, trust and caring.Requirements:-Bachelor s degree is preferred but will consider additional experience in lieu of a BS degree-5+ years

experience within quality assurance within a food manufacturing environment-3+ years' as a QA Manager-2+ years' of experience within the poultry processing industry is required.-Strong applicable experience within a USDA regulatory environment.-Knowledgeable and experienced in food safety programs and policies, to include state and Federal regulations such as USDA, BRC, and SQF.
