As a Global Operations Senior Program Manager - Governance, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effective implementation of governance frameworks within our organization. You will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and enforcing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and organizational objectives. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive governance initiatives. Key qualities we're looking for are: self-starter, influencer and problem solver.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Establish and maintain governance structures, including committees, councils, and working groups, to oversee key organizational processes.
  • Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes. Maintain resources management tools (for example: KPIs, dashboards in PowerApps, Project Visibility Cube)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to identify governance requirements and priorities.
  • Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Monitor and evaluate compliance with governance policies and procedures through regular audits and assessments.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on governance principles, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead the development and implementation of governance-related projects and initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison with external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and industry organizations, on governance matters.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory developments, industry trends, and emerging best practices related to governance.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders on governance-related activities, issues, and outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience (X years) in governance, risk management, compliance, or related fields, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of governance principles, frameworks, and standards (e.g., COSO, ISO 27001, ITIL).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations, identify key issues, and develop practical solutions.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a track record of successfully leading and executing governance-related initiatives and complex projects including new product development and it's transition into the production environment. This includes software, firmware and hardware projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capability to influence and drive change across cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications (MS Power platform & applications).
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting a culture of integrity and accountability within the organization.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, finance, law, or a related field.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., MBA, CFA, CISA) preferred.
