As Continuous Improvement Specialist at the iconic Memphis Plant, TN, you will play a key role on WK Kellogg Company´s manufacturing reliability department by engaging teams to deliver equipment efficiency, reduce waste and build problem solving capabilities. HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Master Plan & 90 Days planSupport Site CI Leader in the development of the Manufacturing Reliability Masterplan and build with the CI Engineers the 90-day plan and PDCA related process.
  • Daily Direction Setting (DDS) Owner of the Manufacturing Reliability department daily meeting, department KPIs and the execution of the meeting health check.
  • Daily Management Systems (DMS) – Owner of the Site DMS forum for Continuous Improvement.
  • Leveraging Tools for Success – Deploy TPM, 6 Sigma and HPO methodologies, systems, and tools under the Kellogg-IWS umbrella to deliver site P&L improvements and OEE efficiency.
  • Kellogg-Integrated Work Systems (TPM/IL6S/HPO) – Facilitate the phase progression campaign for K-IWS while being an active member of a KWS center of excellence (COE)
  • Loss Analysis – Drive loss analysis events within the plant walls and share key learnings to our cereal manufacturing network and our raw/pack materials suppliers.
  • Win The Day – Technical mastery in the making and packing processes of your assigned line to coach. Identify daily sources of loss, activate root cause methodologies, and implement solutions to low hanging opportunities.
  • Waste Elimination and Yield Improvement – Make the most of our resources through cost savings or cost avoidance. You’ll identify the types of waste, add countermeasures, and improve the scrap standards. 
  • Be a Kaizen process champion!

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • A passion for improvement and thinking outside the box!
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical, industrial or mechanical Engineering or technical field.
  • Proven experience leading CI tools usage (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, KWS, IWS, HPO).
  • Expert leading AM, PM and / or FI TPM Pillars.
  • Demonstrated ability in problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in Office 365, especially in Power BI and Power Apps.
  • Proficiency in PI Vision Suite and/or another LEDS system.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization is required, the ability to plan the work ahead and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working in a Union environment.
  • Green belt certification is preferred.
  • Food manufacturing experience a plus
