Status: Full-Time

Location: Remote

Travel

Periodic domestic and internation travel required.

About the Role

As a Global Manager, Competitive Intelligence Analysts, you will be a key player in our fully remote Integrated Manufacturing Systems Global Manufacturing Team. Reporting to the Global Manufacturing Office Sr. Manager, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data on external competitors to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to key stakeholders. Utilizing a variety of research methodologies and tools, you will track industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats to our business. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) / Job Functions

Your performance will be measured against several critical indicators, including:

  • Conducting in-depth research and analysis of external competitors to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
  • Monitoring industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes
  • Utilizing various research methodologies and tools, including market surveys, competitive benchmarking, and industry reports, to gather and synthesize data.
  • Analyzing competitor strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, (SWOT analysis), to inform strategic decision-making and support business objectives.
  • Preparing comprehensive competitive intelligence reports and presentations for key stakeholders, highlighting actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, sales, product development, and strategy, to integrate competitive insights into business planning and execution.
  • Stay abreast of competitive landscape developments, including new product launches, acquisitions, partnerships, and market expansions, and communicate relevant updates to the organization.
  • Continuously refine and enhance competitive intelligence processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure accuracy, relevancy, and efficiency
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on competitive intelligence best practices and trends, providing guidance and support to internal teams as needed.

Your Team

You will be reporting directly to the Global Manufacturing Office Sr. Manager. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a group of dedicated professionals, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment within our fully remote Integrated Manufacturing Systems Global Manufacturing Team.

What You Will Do

  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines.
  • Led competitive intelligence research projects, analyzing data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of external competitors to gather relevant data.
  • Develop actionable reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes.
  • Utilize various research methodologies and tools to gather and synthesize data. Maintain accuracy and reliability in research and analysis.
  • Analyze competitor strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis)
  • Proactively track industry trends and competitor activities
  • Prepare comprehensive competitive intelligence reports and presentations.
  • Present findings to senior management in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to integrate competitive insights.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on competitive intelligence best practices and trends.

What You Need

  • Proven Experience & Educational Background: Minimum of five years of demonstrated success in competitive intelligence research, showcasing a track record of achieving key objectives and driving impactful results. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent international qualifications.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, and other PC applications, ensuring the ability to navigate and contribute effectively to our dynamic work environment. Proficient in relevant software tools for data analysis and reporting
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development and execution of key initiatives, demonstrating an innovative mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Global Perspective: Experience or willingness to work in a global context, with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with operating in diverse international markets.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet changing business needs and priorities.
  • Leadership Skills: Previous experience or potential for leadership roles, showcasing the ability to inspire and lead teams towards common goals, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
