Machine Operator $17/hr - Full-time

We are hiring a daytime machine operator for our client in Culpeper, VA. These positions are temp to hire and are 12-hour shifts that pay $17.00 an hour.

Job Description:

Operate machines in a safe and efficient manner.

Perform quality checks on machine before and after running production.

Document Production runs

Prep and clean blocks for production

Pack parts into totes

Essential Job Functions:

Must be able to frequently lift up to and including 35lbs throughout the 12-hour shift.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time, up to and including 12 hours.

Must be able to consistently position oneself to pack parts into totes.

Work Environment:

You must always wear your PPE's such as shoe covers, steel toed shoes, safety glasses, ear protection, and various others

You will sometimes be exposed to cleaning chemicals

You will work in a sometimes very warm environment

You will be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable. Machinery can be quite loud

Hours:

The shifts are from 7pm-7am

One week you will work Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday

The next week you will work Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday

The Saturday shift is split between the two weeks

The work week begins and ends at 1am on Sunday mornings

How to qualify:

No Experience Required.

GED or High School Diploma preferred.

Ability to use math and read works orders.

Ability to work on a team and communicate.
