Beam Welder (3rd Shift)

Advance Services is looking for Beam Welders. This job is responsible for assembling and welding components required to build large steel trailers. If you're looking to join a company that focuses on safety, quality, delivery, and promotes growth from within, we have an opportunity for you!
Location:Oelwein, IA
Pay:$18.00+
Shift:3rd Shift - Monday-Thursday TBD-6:00am with weekend overtime as needed
Duties/Responsibilities:
-Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project
-Assemble and fabricate large metal structures using various equipment such as MIG welders, grinders, torches, arc cutting and measuring tools.
-Responsible for manufacturing products according to the specifications and standards of the customers.
-Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.
-Lifting and carrying heavy items and moving components by operating an overhead crane.
-Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
-Maintains safe and clean working environment.
-Wear proper personal protective equipment.
-Ability to work overtime as required including Saturdays.
-Ability to operate forklifts/material handling
Education and Experience Requirements:
-High School diploma or equivalent
-Previous welding experience
-Basic understanding of Shop Math.
-Ability to read and understand blueprints and specification.
