SEASONAL GROUNDS MAINTENANCE LABORER | KAIYUH SERVICES, LLC

JOB OVERVIEW

Kaiyuh Services, LLC (KSL) is seeking Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Laborers to join our team. KSL currently has the Roads and Grounds contract which is responsible for all lawn mowing and road maintenance at Fort McCoy, WI. The primary duties associated with this position will be lawn mowing and weed trimming. The candidate must be willing/able to work 8- or 10-hour shifts operating a string trimmer in all weather conditions. This is a seasonal position with anticipated call-in times beginning in mid-April and working full-time through early to late October. These time frames are subject to change, this position is highly influenced by weather.

The pay for this position is $17.60 per hour and includes a Health and Welfare contribution of $7.46 per hours paid to be contributed towards the benefit plan. Other benefits include paid sick leave, paid holidays, and a pension contribution of $1.70 per hours paid.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • General outdoor maintenance to include lawn mowing and weed trimming
  • Operate grounds equipment and machines, and the use of small hand and power tools or equipment
  • Perform incidental tasks related to the position as well as various duties, as assigned, to support the overall objectives/goals of the team while maintaining a positive attitude

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Skill in the proper operation and maintenance of grounds maintenance tools, equipment, and machinery preferred
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screening

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

LIFTING & CARRYING

Physical effort is required. The work requires routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds. Employee must maintain a constant state of mental alertness at all times.
