Portable Crushing Loader / Operator

Independence Excavating is looking for a Portable Crushing Loader & Operator to join our Greenville KY location. In this position you will be responsible for maintaining, operating, and assisting in repairs of the construction equipment.

 A typical day looks like: 

• Performing daily safety maintenance and checks
• Setting up and tearing down operations of portable crushing plant
• Ensuring heavy equipment is safely and securely stored
• Informing and advising management for maintenance or major repairs on equipment
• Responding to signals and directions by staff and work in coordination with them
• Other duties as assigned

Do you have what it takes?

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• 3-5 years’ experience running heavy equipment (loader operating experience a plus)
• GPS experience is preferred
• Operator experience on a MSHA site
• Must be willing to do general maintenance of the equipment
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies, and the public
• Must be able to perform a try-out running the equipment during the interview process
