Responsibilities:

• Assist patients to exam room
• Obtain vital signs (temperature, heart rate, pulse ox, blood pressure, and weight)
• Document inpatient computer record histories and chief complaint.
• Prepare patients for exams and procedures including positioning, draping, shaving, and disinfecting treatment sites.
• Assist with exams, perform visual acuities, and invasive procedures
• Place leads and perform EKGs
• Perform ear lavages, removing sutures or staples from superficial wounds
• Apply basic dressings
• Collect and label urine and stool specimens
• Draw blood and obtain any other specimens ordered by provider
• Run all lab work (CBC, CMP, BMP, Lipids, SOB, Urinalysis, Influenza, Strep Screen, HcG, RSV, and Mono)
• Splint Application
• Remain flexible for cross training
• Occasionally take on tasks outside the normal scope of practice
• Observe, identify, and do what is needed to move us forward in a way that best represents who we are as an organization
• Other duties as needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our Organization's Values

Pay: $14/hr & up (Depending on Experience)

12 hour shifts

All newly hired employees must participate in a 5-day training session in Texarkana, TX as part of their onboarding process.
