Part-Time Custodian

Approx. 20 hours per week includes weekend hours

Starting pay $15.50 then it increases to $17.00 after 90-day probationary period.

Responsibilities Include:

Day Porter Cleaning

a. Empty all wastepaper baskets and ashtrays and clean and damp wipe all outside ashtrays. All wastepaper baskets in restrooms, including trailer restroom, are to include a plastic liner supplied by the contractor, of not less than 2 mil. thickness, and if wet, punctured, or unsanitary the liner shall be replaced.

b. Clean and sanitize all drinking fountains as needed.

c. Clean and sanitize all commodes, urinals, sinks, and surrounding wall and floor areas as needed.

d. Empty, clean, and sanitize all sanitary napkin and trash receptacles as needed.

e. Clean and polish all mirrors and fixtures as needed.

f. Refill all toilet paper, paper towels, and soap dispensers, as necessary, with supplies furnished by the Contractor.

g. Wash and clean all windows, including existing storm windows, inside, outside, and in between surfaces, keeping them smudge free.

h. Mop up wet areas caused by spillages.

i. Damp wipe all tables, stanchions and counters in all eating areas throughout the site.

j. Broom sweep luggage area floor.

k. Vacuum all carpeted areas.

l. Dust mop all hard surface floors

Pre-post-Event Cleaning:

Empty all wastepaper baskets inside and outside, and ashtrays, and damp wipe clean all ashtrays outside of the facility. All wastepaper baskets in restrooms shall include a plastic liner (supplied by the Contractor) of not less than 2 mil. thickness and if wet, punctured, or unsanitary the liner shall be replaced.

b. Wash all tables and counters, including all eating areas throughout the site.

c. Dust mop all hard surface floors.

d. Broom sweep luggage area floor.

e. Clean and sanitize all drinking fountains.

f. Toilet Areas

i. Clean and disinfect commodes, urinals, sinks and surrounding wall areas.

ii. Empty, clean, and sanitize all sanitary napkin and trash receptacles.

iii. Clean and polish all mirrors and fixtures.

iv. Sweep and wet mop with disinfectant/deodorizer, all floors.

v. Refill all toilet paper, paper towel, and soap dispensers, as necessary, with supplies furnished by the Contractor

g. Vacuum and spot clean stains on all carpeted areas.

h. Sweep, damp mop resilient tile all dirt, gum, and foreign material.

i. Dust and spot clean all other horizontal surfaces, Remove all dust and cobwebs from walls and ceilings.

k. Spot wash walls, doors and light switches to remove any marks.

l. Wash and clean all windows, including existing storm windows,

Clearances:

This position requires passing a federal government clearance investigation.
