Food Runner

Food runners are responsible for running food from the kitchen to the guests around the restaurant. This can be a stepping stone position into expediting and serving. Food Runners also prep hot sauces, soups, prepare the line in the morning and help service tables at times with the servers.

Requirements/Responsibilities

- No previous experience necessary.

- Must be professional with ability to describe dishes clearly and effectively.

- Understand the order taken by the server and any dietary restrictions, food allergies, changes or modifications made to the food item, etc.

- Runners must be organized with attention to detail.

- Ensures all food is prepared consistently and served to guests according to the restaurant's standard

- A current California Food Handler certification will be required within the first 30 days of hire.

Part-Time Hourly Position with Tips (Starting @ $18.15/hour)
