Door, Window, and Waterproofing Installer
Mesa, AZ

JOB SUMMARY:

  • As a Door, Window, and Waterproofing Installer, you will play a critical role in using your experience in installing a wide range of doors and windows, including residential and commercial applications. You will be responsible for ensuring precise measurements, fitting, and secure installation of doors and windows while adhering to safety and quality standards. You will also install PVC roofing as well as liquid and tape zip systems.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriately and when required.
  • Safe and correct utilization of a variety of hand, power, and pneumatic tools such as hammers, drills, wire cutters, multimeter, voltage tester, conduit bender, fish tapes and rods, etc.
  • Safe utilization of ladders, scaffolds, and step ladders.
  • Read and interpret plans for appropriate dimensions, spacing, and other engineering callouts, including material requirements.
  • Measure and assess installation areas to determine the appropriate dimensions and specifications.
  • Install a variety of doors and windows, including siding, sill pans, casement, and double-hung windows, as well as entry and interior doors.
  • Ensure proper insulation, sealing, and weatherproofing to enhance energy efficiency and reduce drafts.
  • Install flash tape, liquid zip, and other waterproofing materials.
  • Install a variety of metal and wood exterior siding.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in installation of doors, windows, and other waterproofing materials in a construction and/or manufacturing environment.
  • Basic math skills including an understanding of fractions and decimals.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Able to lift and carry weights of up to 50lbs.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that involve bending, twisting, and lifting.


NICE TO HAVES:

  • Basic blueprint reading and knowledge.
  • Installation Master Certification or Certified Window and Door Installer (CWDI).
  • Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish, to facilitate communication with a diverse workforce.
