Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Facilities and Property Maintenance position is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of all facilities and properties within our non-profit organization. This role plays a crucial part in creating a safe and comfortable environment for our staff, volunteers, and clients.

Travel Requirements: 25%
Working Schedule:
- Day shifts
- Monday through Friday
- Evening shifts
- Holidays
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train a team of maintenance staff
- Assign tasks and ensure work is completed in a timely manner
- Provide guidance and support to staff members
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing systems, electrical fixtures, and HVAC systems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any safety hazards or maintenance issues
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for major repairs and renovations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment inventory
- Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
Required Skills/ Abilities:
- Knowledge of building maintenance and repair techniques
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education and Experience:
- High School/ GED
- 3-5 years
- Credentials for a area of expertise
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 40+ pounds
- Ability to stand, walk and lift for extended periods of time
- Bending, stooping and reaching
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
Potential Job Hazards:
- Exposure to hazardous material
- Working at heights
- Operating heavy machinery
