Driver/Material Handler - 1st Shift

Marion Die & Fixture, a division of the Bradbury Group, manufactures a wide range of custom dies and fixtures for metal-forming applications. Marion engineers work closely with the other Bradbury Group companies and their customers to design the tools that turn concepts into finished products.

SUMMARY

Deliver/Pick up products and materials using company vehicles, assist in tool crib and warehouse, perform light maintenance and inspections, and custodial duties as needed.

HOURS

1st Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm M-F

LOCATION

Marion, KS

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Pickup and delivery of products and materials.
• Perform visual inspection of items/materials for defects or damages.
• Take measures to ensure cargo is protected from damage in transit.
• Complete and maintain necessary paperwork pertaining to materials delivered, miles driven, and items delivered/picked up.
• Unload incoming trucks as needed.
• Assist in the tool crib.
• Perform designated monthly safety inspections.
• Complete daily plant shutdown procedures.
• Be available for occasional after-hours deliveries and pickup for rush orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED/PREFERRED

• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Ability to locate destinations based on instructions or maps.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow oral/written instructions.
• Must have a clear understanding of the Bradbury Group Values and Beliefs and a commitment to adhere to the Values and Beliefs throughout each day in actions and decisions.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES

• Current driver's license.
• Excellent driving record.
• Is consistently at work and on time
