1st shift: $18.00 an hour, 6:00am - 4:30pm

2nd shift: $19.00 an hour, 4:00pm - 2:30am

What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator? You’ll be:
• Recording all raw materials used in the batch record
• Recording all machine operation functions and readings in the batch record
• Verifying and recording verification on all items that apply in the batch record
• Adjusting machine function settings to manufacture products meeting customer specifications
• Identifying when machine functions are not operating properly
• Assembling and disassembling processing machine parts
• Effectively cleaning all processing machines and support equipment
• Operating product testing equipment to ensure product is manufactured to customer specifications
• Reading and identifying specific product labels
• Reading and identifying raw material requirements for formulation per batching sheet
• Operating scales to accurately formulate products for processing
• Recording all data required in the batch record pertaining to formulation
• Operating a forklift to transfer finished product within the production and WIP areas

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Have basic math skills
• Can lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds (with assistance)
• Have previous forklift experience preferred
• Can pass the forklift operation certification exam
• Have basic computer skills preferred
