Role and Responsibilities:
- Performs the duties of a paying and receiving teller accurately: cashes checks; accepts deposits and loan payments and safety deposit rent; sells Official Checks, completes CTRs as needed; takes check orders;
- Performs the duties of a Customer Service Representative: opens new accounts, monitors check orders, and cross-sells all accounts offered by the bank, assists customers with IRAs and IRA questions and with account inquiries.
- Opens, balances, and closes Card machine daily. Makes debit cards in house or places order for cards.
- Complies with CIP requirements.
- Set goals to help expand to existing and future relations, both deposit and loan.
- Uses Deposit Horizons daily and completes tracking information.
- Scans work through Brach Capture.
- Employee balances vault and ATM; restocks ATM.
- Employee efficiently handles account inquiries and solves customer problems at the first customer contact.
- Trains new hires to meet and exceed production and customer service requirements.
- Performs the duties of a vault teller.
- Orders money and ships surplus to Fed.
- Assist with opening/closing procedures daily.
- Will audit vaults and ATMs at other branches.
- Employee has prompt and regular attendance.
- Completes all training assigned by HR, IT, Compliance, BSA, and supervisor on a timely basis.
- Has a helpful attitude with co-workers and customers.
- Strives to improve the efficiency in his/her work area through cost savings.
- Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
- Follows IT Security Policies and Procedures, including the diligent reporting of phishing emails.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to supervise and work well with others
- Excellent math skills
- Tact and public relations expertise
- Proficient with PC and calculator
