*Job Summary*
Tile and Stone Importer with Corporate Headquarters in Fredericksburg, VA, seeking an Outside Sales Representative for our customers in Michigan, Ohio and Pittsburgh area.
Travel is Monday - Friday, with a trip at least twice a year to Corporate Headquarters.
*Responsibilities and Duties*
Visiting customers on a route best suited for your travel and time, prepared by you. Daily reporting with customer visit reports to HQ allowing for the best customer service for our clients. Establishing new customers and following potentials leads.
Updating customer’s price lists, emailing them updates as needed. Taking inventory on customer showroom samples, making appointments, setting up a presentation with clients and showing the new tiles. Removing and labeling boards as needed based on discontinued status, setting up racking systems and stands as needed. Filing out a daily ICL from that days visit and submitting nightly so we can have our sample department make the required samples for your next visit back to the customer.
Travel is Mon - Fri, with nightly hotel stays on Mon - Thurs. A budget, vehicle, credit card, phone, etc. will be provided. A DMV driving record MUST be submitted prior to start for insurance validation.
Heavy Lifting of up to approx. 50 lbs.
*Qualifications and Skills*
Previous Outside Sales experience preferred. Training is provided at Corporate headquarters and our VP of Sales will travel in the territory with you.
Must be detailed oriented, and being organized is a must! Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel. Good people and communication skills are very important.
