Facilities Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Job Summary
Come join a creative engineering team dedicated to delivering professional solutions to a wide
array of material and product related issues. You will help us coordinate equipment and facilities
related logistics in our Bangalore-based lab facility.
In this role, you will ensure trouble-free operation by managing calibration and maintenance
records, coordinating vendors for equipment installations and maintenance, facilitating lab
equipment and building repairs, and assisting with deliveries of equipment and products. You
should have a real passion for innovation; we need someone who will proactively optimize
equipment placement and operation to improve workflow and efficiency. You will assist with lab
design, remodeling projects, and equipment selection. You should also be hands-on and
capable of performing minor repairs to fix electrical and/or plumbing issues. We expect you to
take pride in your workplace and be willing to think creatively to ensure that this lab is one of the
finest in the world.
Technical Skills Requirement
• Deep understanding of electrical, mechanical, fire life safety, and compressed gas delivery
• Familiar with local governmental procedures and requirements for laboratories
• Willingness to provide on-call support in case of an emergency
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide direction to contractors and vendors
• Experience working with analytical instrumentation (Scanning Electron Microscopes, X-ray
systems, chemical analysis tools, etc.)
• Experience with the daily operations of a laboratory
