Assembly Team Lead | 2nd shift

As the Assembly Team Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in directing daily activities and ensuring that our assembly processes meet the highest standards of excellence. You'll oversee a team of talented individuals, providing strong leadership to drive continuous improvement in quality, productivity, and safety.
Job Duties:
- Communicate daily production goals and provide performance feedback to team members.
- Conduct interviews for potential candidates for the department.
- Coordinate movement of assemblers to maximize production output.
- Serve as the controller of production, quality, and safety for the designated team.
- Coordinate activities between material handlers and setup specialists for efficient line setup.
- Act as backup to supervisor and assist in filling out performance reviews.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 3:30pm – 12:00am OT and Saturday when required
Requirements:
- 3+ years of related assembly/team leader experience preferred with ability to blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of quality control observation and inspection skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Basic computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office and Epicor MRP, a plus.
- Excellent attendance and flexibility for overtime or schedule adjustments.
Equipment Used:
You'll have the opportunity to operate a variety of equipment, including computer systems, hand tools, pneumatic tools, drill presses, hydraulic presses, pallet jacks, and more.
Pay: $20.00 -$27.00
