Director, Accounting

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Job Term: Full-Time

The Opportunity: As Picarro's Director of Accounting, you will report to the Corporate Controller.

You will lead our global accounting operations, tax compliance and financial risk management.

You are a strong leader experienced in accounting and tax oversight and able to work collaboratively

across business functions. You have experience in high growth, global companies and the ability

to lead and scale the accounting function.

Manage the Worldwide Accounting Function and Audits:

* Demonstrate technical proficiency and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

* Provide financial leadership and technical accounting expertise for current and new accounting guidance,

including but not limited to revenue recognition, leasing, cost accounting, stock compensation, transfer pricing, etc.

* Manage worldwide tax compliance, upholding federal, state, and local legal standards by remaining knowledgeable

about existing, new, and future legislation.

* Oversee Domestic and International Tax Issues and consult tax expertise for advice as necessary.

* Manage stock administration and stock compensation ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

* Drive global accounting function, ensuring strong oversight, internal controls, and process standardization across regions.

* Interpret, develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies, processes, and procedures.

* Drive continual process improvements leveraging best practices, standardization, and automation to scale processes.

* Provide recommendations and advise on accounting related issues, disclosures, business transactions and financial statements.

* Manage Corporate Worldwide insurance coverage.

* Responsible for external accounting, banking, insurance, and tax audits

* Provide leadership to scale processes and controls across the organization.

* Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines.

* Hire, develop, and train highly skilled accounting team.

* Demonstrate professionalism and Picarro Core Values as a leader in the organization

Key Skillsets:

* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

* CPA/CMA is a plus

* Experience with a Manufacturing facility

* Experience with managing Outsourced Transactional Support in low cost GEOS

* Management of International Subsidiaries

* Ability to critically analyze results at a high level.

* Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to summarize and convey

key information in an effective manner to a wide range of audiences.

* Solid knowledge of financial fundamentals and financial systems / processes.

* Excellent attention to detail when necessary.

* A strong leader and team player who can work closely with peers across various departments.

* Ability to research FASB Guidance

* Understanding of AICPA/PCAOB/SEC Compliance

* Understanding of Auditing standard (GAAS)

* Advance proficiency in NetSuite

* Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information

Salary & Benefits: The base salary range for this full-time position is $185,000 - $195,000.

Your base salary and title will be determined based on the location, experience, qualification, skills, and knowledge, level,

and pay of other employees in similar positions.
