Position Summary

Delva Tool (DTM), a CMT company, is seeking a CNC Mill Machinist for our Cinnaminson, NJ location. The CNC Machinist is responsible for quality parts produced on CNC machines such as, but not limited to, lathes and mills. *This position works a schedule of Monday thru Thursday from 3:30pm-2:00am with an additional 15% differential added to your hourly rate of pay. Our work area is 100% climate controlled. The hiring range for this position is between $26.00 - $32.00/hr. depending on experience*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Load parts and/or material, prove programs, operate controls, perform simple edits after approval of engineer and inspect quality of parts for conformance to requirements. 
  • Study and interpret drawings, specifications of sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements. 
  • Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjust machine (within capabilities) and controls as required to ensure quality of production.
  • Effectively communicate with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignment and to resolve machining or quality issues.
  • Adhere and comply with state and federal law, the company AS/ISO Quality program and procedures, company policies, and safety and environmental regulations. 

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routing reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 
  • Ability to read precision gauges and visual accuracy.
  • Ability to produce precision work.
