ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Project Director is the internal owner of the Project and the voice of WET to the external Client, Client Consultants, Contractors, and WET’s consultants.

The Project Director collaborated with the functional department managers to ensure the Project Vision is realized within the scope, schedule, and budget established for the Project.
 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Lead the Project Team to realize the Project Vision (Concept and Story) to successful completion of the Project
• Ensure that the Scope of Services is delivered on time and within budget
• Mange the deliverable and payments accordance with the Project Contract
• Identify scope increase from the contract terms and conditions early and initiate the Change Order or Variation Order
• Manage Consultant Agreement (Scope definition, deliverables, and schedule) negotiation and management
• Collaborate with functional Department Leaders in creating mission planning and executing the Project
• Monitor, track, and analyze project costs and schedules and take appropriate actions to deliver on the Project Vision

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Ten (10) plus years of demonstrated Project Management experience, including managing Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Field (Construction, Installation, and Field Commissioning) experience in a related industry
• Have been in a Leadership position for ten-plus years
• Engineering or Architecture degree preferred
• Excellent ability to build successful relationships—both within the Company and externally
• Delivered desire to always be “the best of the best.”
• Possess clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to present professionally and persuasively to high-end individuals
• Deliver the strong customer service with excellent interpersonal skills
• Contract negotiation and Change Order or Variation Order management experience
• Proactive attention to detail
• Be a self-starter with a proactive mindset including the ability to work with minimal supervision. Curious and exploration-based mind-set
• Excellent in creating a Project Schedule then tracking and adjusting as the Project unfolds
• Job cost analytics experience
• Themed Entertainment industry
• Comfortable with technology
• Have experience in sophisticated architecture projects
