Culinary Expo Chef

Job Summary

Opal Grand Resort is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Expo to join its hospitality and Culinary team. The Expo is a full-time hourly position located in Delray Beach, Florida. 

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time, hourly position offering $18 biweekly. Opal Resort also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, vacation, and 401(k) enrollment.

Responsibilities
• Ensure that all menu items are made and prepared in accordance with company standards and recipes
• Ensure that all orders are timeliness and accurately assembled, garnished, and presented
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work space and equipment
• Properly label and date all prepped items
• Proactively observe food delivery, holding and presentation, to ensure great quality and presentation
• Attend weekly staff meetings and food safety training
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements
• At least 1 year of experience in food service or restaurant operations
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Basic knowledge of food service safety procedures
• Enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
