Line Cook

The position we are looking for here at Red Devil Pizza is for a cook. This position will train you on how to make pizzas by being efficient and and fast without sacrificing the quality of our pizza. You we begin by topping the pizzas; learning how to properly portion the veggies, meats, cheese, etc. as this is crucial with the quality of the pizza. Working the oven will be especially important on keeping up with the pizzas coming out the oven and to make sure they are being put together for the correct to go order or for a dine in order. Stretching or "slapping" out the dough is also very important for your training as every pizza being made must be consistent; bubbles must be a minimal and speed is very crucial especially on a busy night.

Becoming a Red Devil cook also comes with responsibilities, not only making pizzas is part of the job but also maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and the work station. At the end of every day the closing shift cook has to leave the entire cooking station cleaned and restocked for the next day; there will be another cook closing with you to help out with cleaning but the person with the closing shift makes sure everything is restocked by the end of the night. Prepping is also important for the topping station as all our veggies are hand cut, that will be done through out the day depending on what needs to be done.

We are looking for people who can either work part time or full time and we are able to work around school schedules. Weekends are our busiest so when it comes to scheduling you will be working on the weekends and have days off on the weekdays. We look for people who will be here on time with a positive attitude and ready to work as a team. Being a small business/ company our pay rate begins at $13 hourly starting.
