Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and empathetic Parenting Facilitator to join our team. The Parenting Facilitator will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and informative parenting workshops, group sessions, and one-on-one consultations. The candidate will possess a deep understanding of child development, effective communication techniques, and a genuine commitment to promoting positive parenting practices.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and facilitate parenting workshops, support groups, and educational sessions.
  • Provide a safe and welcoming environment for parents to share their experiences, challenges, and successes.
  • Develop and adapt workshop content and materials based on the needs and preferences of participants.
  • Deliver presentations on a variety of parenting topics, including child development, behavior management, effective communication, and self-care.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere that encourages open dialogue and mutual support among participants.
  • Offer practical guidance, tools, and strategies to help parents navigate parenting challenges and promote healthy family dynamics.
  • Listen actively, offer empathy, and provide constructive feedback during group discussions and individual consultations.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in facilitating parenting workshops, support groups, or similar educational programs.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and effective parenting practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathetic and nonjudgmental approach to working with diverse groups of parents.
