Position Summary: Position is multi-faceted with primary focus on generating new business, while maintaining current customers. Create new business opportunities based on market trends; grow business with existing customers; find market niches and sales opportunities which utilize products manufactured by the companies, as well as utilize the company relationship with joint venture companies. Assist with design and specifications for customer application. Essential Functions: Ø Sales Manager – · Responsible for the sales and profitability for specific customers, along with establishing and maintaining long-term relationships / daily · Create, maintain and monitor forecasts for specific customers / daily or as needed · Negotiate with customers and vendors for price, delivery, terms and conditions / daily or as needed · Prepare develop and conduct sales presentations; prepare formal business proposals; administer business, non-disclosure and intellectual property agreements / as needed · Perform regular communication and on-site surveys with customers to ensure service meets customer requirements / as needed Ø Project Manager – · Develop and implement sales strategies for electronic components, sub-assemblies and complete peripherals / daily or as needed · Promote worldwide factories as sub-contractor for electronic assemblies, finished products, optics and plastic injection molding / daily or as needed Ø Marketing Manager – · Analyze product trends and usage, costing and market competition / daily or as needed · Attend various trade shows to help promote products along with assisting customers with their marketing plans / as needed Ø Supervise Staff – · Manage Sales Coordinator to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through timely order processing / daily Supplemental Functions: Ø Assist in physical inventory / 2 times per year Ø Support and maintain JSOX program / as needed Ø Other duties or special projects may be assigned from time to time General Qualifications: Ø College graduate or comparable experience, preferably in electrical, or electronics major Ø Minimum 5 years sales experience in electronics industry Ø Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in a professional and concise manner when dealing with employees, customers, vendors and Company contacts Ø Competent computer skills required to perform the essential functions of the position, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, etc. Ø Well developed presentation skills Ø Excellent customer relation skills Ø Marketing and market planning knowledge Ø Proven ability to develop new business strategies Ø Ability to travel 50% of the time Full time position with excellent Full benefits + 401K (4% Matching) Bonus.
