Soliant Education is currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join our team in Davenport, NE. As a Music Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the musical talents and appreciation of students through engaging instruction and creative exploration. This is a contract position that offers the opportunity to inspire a love for music and foster artistic expression in students.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a prehensive and engaging music curriculum that aligns with state standards and district goals.
  • Instruct students in various aspects of music education including music theory, history, performance, and position.
  • Conduct rehearsals, direct performances, and organize music-related events such as concerts, recitals, and petitions.
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse musical abilities and interests.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and expression.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and munity partners to promote the importance of music education and student achievement.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and participation in music activities.
  • Stay current with trends and best practices in music education through professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification/license in Music Education (Nebraska certification).
  • Previous experience teaching music at the elementary, middle, or high school level.
  • Proficiency in playing and teaching a variety of musical instruments and styles.
  • Excellent munication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for music education and a dedication to inspiring students to explore and appreciate music.
