Job Description

Job Overview

This position has direct responsibility to assist in inventory control of ingredients and packaging. This position has direct responsibility to ensure that all work activities under its span of control are performed with attention the highest standards of food quality, safe processes, compliance with all appropriate legal requirements and a focus on continuous process improvement. Responsible for the daily operations and functions in the receiving department.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the training of new receiving personnel
• Maintain receiving training records
• Maintain Lot Tracking records
• Check in drivers and maintain records
• Receive all ingredients and packaging in SAP and list on Receiving Log
• Maintain accurate and complete information on all ingredients and packaging
• Check all ingredients COA's
• Check daily forklift check sheets and file
• Check daily ingredient verification sheets and filePrint updated inbound truck list for unloaders daily
• Upload COA's to SharePoint for all ingredient shipments to Edgerton
• Maintain and compile all needed receiving information for internal and external audit
• Function as liaison between Receiving department and all other departments within the organization
• Maintain all necessary communication between the Receiving department and other departments within and outside of the organization
• Perform additional duties as directed by Receiving Manager/Receiving Supervisor

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma, or equivalent.
• Previous work experience in Receiving, SAP and Microsoft Office
