Facilities/Maintenance Engineer II

The primary responsibility for this position is to provide overall project management services and engineering solutions as related to facility changes and improvements at manufacturing facilities. Work with non-mobile material handling equipment application, engineering, and installation. Machine tool and process equipment layout and installation. Coordination, planning, and management of multi-discipline projects. Consulting and coordination towards dynamic factory master planning efforts. Requirements Experience with Manufacturing Engineering or Maintenance is recommended. Cross function experience in other areas, such as Supply Management, Quality, Environment, or Safety is desirable. Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology Discipline. Manager looking for Civil Engineering degrees with Construction Management emphasis or Mechanical Engineering degree with Manufacturing emphasis. Experience in project management. Cross competency experience with either Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Supervision, and/or Maintenance Engineering. Experience in coordinating multiple skilled trades and contractors to achieve project objectives (5+ years). Background in building infrastructure systems (mechanical, electrical, structural) (3+ years). Understanding of engineering principles as related to manufacturing operations (3+ years). Working knowledge of non-mobile material handling systems (cranes, jibs, monorails, conveyors). Preferred: Experience working in a Union environment.
