NELTS, Inc is a leading provider in Landscaping, Sweeping, & Snow Removal out of CT, RI, MA, NY, NJ, FL.

The Field Technician position will be required to perform manual labor to blow and clean entrance ways, curbs, medians, hand-porter parking lots, and dump trash as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Clean all islands, curb lines, and behind all parking stops of trash and debris.
  • Use a blower to clean sidewalks and corners.
  • Clean all sides of the building, including entrances & exits.
  • Clean the parking lanes and drive lanes by operating a sweeper truck.
  • Empty trash cans as directed.
  • Use hand-porter tools to manually clean areas as needed.
  • Schedules vary and may include 5- or 6-day rotations as needed.
  • The length of a shift is determined by the assigned route, where some routes are longer than others.
  • The weekly hours are determined by the client's cleaning schedule.
  • Checking In & Out, as well as site photos are completed using a mobile app.

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overnight shift
  • Weekend availability
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Must have a clean driver's license, a complete DMV review will be conducted.
  • Physical Stamina and the ability to work outdoors for long periods of time
  • Must be time oriented with the ability to adhere to strict time management schedules.
  • Peak period is April to September where 40+ hours weekly is typical.
  • Non-peak period is October to March where 30 hours weekly is typical.
  • Must be self-motivated to complete tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Punctuality and honesty are expected. When training is completed, you will be working independently and are expected to always perform in a professional manner.
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Have a working smart phone.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb in and out of the truck multiple times per shift.
  • Must be able to work overnights, weekends, and holidays.
