Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a Night Shift Treater Operator (Skill Level D) at our Ridgeway, SC Location.

Schedule: 7p-7a- Rotating 2-2-3 schedule pattern

Skill Level: E

Compensation: $23.50-$25.25/hr plus $1.25/hr shift differential

The Role

The Treater Lead is responsible for ensuring goals are met in the Treating Operation. This position also assists employees to meet production and quality standards and collaborates with employees and managers to solve work-related problems.

TOP RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will be responsible for effectively monitoring, training and leading the daily activities of the Treater Operator
  • You will be responsible for ensuring materials processed conform to internal and industry quality criteria.
  • Ability to cover vacant or absent production positions, including product testing.
  • Work in conjunction with Quality Control, Scheduling, Maintenance, and Engineering to ensure timely and orderly flow of materials.
  • Perform Safety and Quality Audits as assigned.
  • Manage daily metric boards and present data to Plant Leadership
  • Handle and store chemicals properly, including disposal of chemical waste per internal and RCRA standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas including equipment, tools, and work surfaces.
  • Use Lean/Six Sigma Methodologies to improve the process.
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement events.
  • Ability to work within a company registered/compliant to National and International Standards and Requirements and contribute to those standards and requirements (ISO, EICC, OSHA,)

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with fiberglass, resin, and treating - required
  • Ability to work while standing for up to 12 hours
  • Ability to walk multiple flights of stairs indoors
  • Ability to pass pulmonary function test. (Employees must refrain from having facial hair to comply with respirator PPE requirements)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
