Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Blood Bank - Per Diem Weekend Days
NewYork-Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital merges world-class care with compassion. The combination is awe-inspiring.
Conduct routine and complex tests on clinical specimens in the Blood Bank. Perform quality control procedures for all tests as dictated by policy and document all results plus follow-up on out of range results.
This is a Per Diem Blood Bank technologist position covering weekend shifts 8:00am - 7:00pm. Location is our Allen Hospital campus in Upper Manhattan/Inwood.
Preferred Criteria
- ASCP certification
- Minimum of two years experience as a Laboratory Technologist in Blood Bank
Required Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related health science field is required
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education Department
