We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education (SPED) Teacher to join our exceptional team of educators. The SPED Teacher will provide specialized instruction, support, and advocacy to students with disabilities, ensuring their academic and personal growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of inclusive education practices, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

  • ASAP - 24/25 school year
  • Must have school-based experience
  • Mild/Moderate case load, direct work with students, attend IEP meetings, develop and monitor IEP goals

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, in collaboration with parents/guardians, support staff, and related service providers.
  • Adapt and modify curriculum materials to meet the unique needs and abilities of students with disabilities, ensuring accessibility and promoting learning.
  • Employ a variety of instructional strategies, accommodations, and assistive technologies to facilitate student engagement and success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification or licensure for Special Education.
  • Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Understanding of individualized instruction, behavior management techniques, and evidence-based interventions.
