Hospital Pharmacist (Travel) - 13+ Weeks - Day Shift - Full-Time - Near Moab, UT

We are seeking a travel Pharmacist to work in the investigational drug room, and the Director of Pharmacy (DOP) is the sole pharmacist on staff. As the facility expands, we are seeking a motivated candidate to assist the DOP, who has been managing the workload independently.

Job Duties:

• Review and interpret medication orders for inpatients and outpatients.
• Prepare and/or check medications before distribution to various offices, clinics, and ambulance services.
• Counsel patients being discharged from the hospital regarding medication management.
• Inspect pharmacy inventory to ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Clear and active license in the state of Oregon.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting.
• Acute care hospital setting experience is preferred.
