Special Education Teacher

We are currently seeking experienced Special Education (SPED) Teachers for full-time roles within school districts in the Las vegas, NM area. Candidates must meet all local and state requirements to apply. Please see detailed qualifications below.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's preferred)
• Valid state SPED teaching license/certification
• Knowledge of local and state special education laws and regulations
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to support student learning and development
• Provide differentiated instruction and acmodations to meet the needs of students with disabilities
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with state and federal regulations
