About this job
ZT systems is seeking a Material Handler for the production areas. As a production Material Handler, you will primarily be responsible for receiving, organizing, and distributing and tracking inventory of the production tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) to the production areas. This position will be based in Secaucus, NJ
What You Will Do
•Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments of production tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) for the production areas.
•Maintain accurate inventory records of tools and PPE, updating tracking systems to reflect stock levels.
•Prepare and distribute tools and PPE to designated workstations in accordance with production schedules and safety requirements.
•Collaborate with the production admin team to communicate inventory needs and reorder tools and PPE as required to prevent shortages.
•Conduct routine checks and inspections of tools to ensure they meet safety standards and are in proper working condition.
•Provide training and guidance to employees on the correct usage, care, and storage of production tools and PPE.
•Maintain a clean and safe environment in the production tools and PPE center area.
Minimum Requirements
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook and Excel
•Proven experience in material handling within production.
•Effective communication skills to collaborate with production teams and other stakeholders.
•Detail oriented for accurate recording and tracking of material.
•Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize incoming and outgoing materials.
Minimum qualification
•0-2+ years of related work experience in manufacturing field
•High School Diploma preferred or equivalent combination of professional experience.
